Amanusa enjoys a commanding position on a garden hillside in southern Bali just above the Bali Golf and Country Club. Views run from the adjacent Indian Ocean shoreline to the sacred Mount Agung that dominates the far horizon on a clear day.
Amanusa has 35 thatched–roof suites linked by paved walkways and set behind foliage and mossy paras stone walls for added privacy. Massage and beauty treatments are available in the privacy of the guests’ suites, in the cosy massage suite or on one of the beach lounging bales that rest on the golden sand.
The restaurant specialises in Mediterranean cuisine, which is served in an elegant room with high ceilings or in the outdoor courtyard surrounded by flowering frangipani trees which overlook the fascinating pool. Guests can spend the day at the beach club, play tennis or enjoy a round of golf.
