Amanwana is located on the nature reserve of Moyo, off the island of Sumbawa, east of Bali. Set in a secluded cove, accommodation is in luxury, large tents amidst the tropical forest overlooking the Flores Sea. Inside, the air–conditioned tents feature banks of windows, Indonesian island artwork, a sitting area with facing divans, a king–size bed, a writing desk and a large bathroom. The dining room and bar are located in an open–air pavilion facing the sea.
The protected marine park offers outstanding diving and snorkelling sites with pristine reefs that are host to a rich array of marine life. Amanwana’s fleet team maintains a variety of boats for dive safaris, sports fishing and sunset or picnic cruises to deserted islands. Deer and monkeys are some of the wildlife that may be spotted while trekking through the jungle of this wilderness hideaway.
