Awasi is an intimate environment where guests enjoy the natural beauty of the Atacama Desert. Since its opening, memorable travel experiences have been delivered through the lodging, gastronomy and outings.
With only 8 dwellings, each of the spacious suites features a private patio, reading area, and outdoor shower. The natural elements surrounding Awasi have been incorporated into its architecture for it was built using only local materials.
The chefs have incorporated the diverse aromas and flavours of the Atacama region in the dishes, using local ingredients. These ingredients have been part of the native’s diet for thousands of years and will allow guests to enjoy ancestral recipes known only in the area.
Each room is assigned an expert guide and a 4 wheel drive vehicle. All excursions are private and tailor made according to the guest’s preferences. In all its offerings, Awasi focuses on the smallest details to ensure a harmonious balance between leisure and adventure, luxury and authenticity, simplicity and sophistication.
