Devi Ratn, located in Jaipur, has a vocabulary of design that looks inwards for inspiration, taking its name from the “Nav Ratn”: nine pure gemstones. The lustrous gem-craft of Jaipur is reflected in the materials used and the intricate quality of detail. Devi Ratn presents a combination of lyrical spaces and bold architecture.
The 63 suites at Devi Ratn are celebrations of textures, patterns, latticework and colour. Planned along crescent shaped streets at varying heights, each suite has a view of the Aravalis. Vibrant gemstone hues, black and white terrazzo flooring and traditional bay windows, enliven the spaces. The 3 villas are set in a courtyard, each with a private pool and Jacuzzi.
The monolithic “Sila” conference room is a white marble cube that glows at night. The restaurant Vajra, which means Diamond, is an all day dining restaurant in shades of silver and gold, serving contemporary Indian and contemporary European Cuisines in Chef’s Distinctive style. The Chakra Bar uses the gentle movement of lights to create a sense of the night-sky. On the bar deck, a mist fountain creates an ephemeral mood. The large Devi Spa by L’Occitane is a quiet and meditative place of rejuvenation that offers fusion treatments.
