Housed in a former hospital dating from the past century, the Granados 83 was converted into a hotel featuring the Nouveau Art Déco style. Its structure, made of rusted iron reminiscent of the old lofts in New York’s Soho, contrasts with the stone and glass façade and the Zen–inspired interior design boasting premium minimalist elegance. Its true heart is the central courtyard with its skylight and a spectacular glass roof. Around it are elegantly minimalist light–drenched spaces – split–level rooms with semi–private swimming pools – where iron, brick, zebrawood and wood from the tamarind tree, raw leather and white Thassos marble are masterfully blended.
The Granados 83 is located in the middle of the city, just a few metres from Rambla de Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia and Avinguda Diagonal, right in the heart of the business, shopping and tourist district.
