The Hotel Saratoga is an elegant building constructed in neoclassical–eclectic style on an attractive corner in Old Havana. It stands opposite the Capitolio building and the Parque de la Fraternidad and boasts spectacular views of the prestigious Partagás Cigar Factory and Cuba’s principal opera house, the Gran Teatro de La Habana.
The hotel was originally built on the site in the 1930s, and swiftly became one of Havana’s most stylish establishments and a favourite haunt of Cubans writers, musicians, artists and socialites. The current building, recreated behind the Saratoga’s historic façade, combines traditional detail with up–to–the–minute technology to ensure superlative service and comfort for guests.
