Hunter’s Country House is an exclusive retreat set in the magnificent Garden Route of the Western Cape. The hotel is surrounded by rich indigenous forests and framed by the majestic mountains of Tsitsikama.
The gracious, original homestead with its white walls and thatched roof is reminiscent of the traditional country architecture o the region. In the extensive gardens surrounding the manor house are 23 luxurious cottages and suites, each individually decorated and designed for the absolute comfort and privacy.
Three intimate Baronial dining rooms with silver and candlelight are the perfect setting for the gastronomic cuisine. A wine cellar houses some of the Cape’s finest wines while the sun lounge and main lounge with its upstairs library and antique fireplace add to the charm of the main house.
