The Aborigines have always known that Uluru (Ayers Rock) was a special place, and it could therefore only be a special hotel to make its home here. Longitude 131° is precisely that.
Luxurious, eco–sensitive and romantic, Longitude 131° offers immersion in the wilderness of Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park. Fifteen individual tents give guests the feeling of being part of the desert, but inside each are white linen covered king–sized beds, air conditioning and every amenity you would expect in a five star hotel. With a pool and a first class restaurant, this is as far from camping as you can get.
As one of only 30 guests, you awake to your own private view of the sun rising and setting on Uluru. Depending on the time of day and the atmospheric conditions, the world’s largest monolith can dramatically change colour, from blue to glowing red as it stands in awesome isolation in the flowering desert.
Longitude 131° is far from anywhere else you can be, as close as possible to serenity, rejuvenation of the body, stimulation for the mind and liberation of the spirit.
