Maison La Minervetta, built in a very unique position, sits on the seacliff facing the Volcano Vesuvio and the entire Gulf of Naples, few minutes away from the centre of Sorrento. Private steps connect to the antique fisherman’s village named Marina Grande, where restaurants and beaches can be found.

The Maison’s style is modern, with warm touches of ethnic object and many vintage pieces. The lounge area, with its libraries filled with picture and design books, opens onto a large panoramic terrace charmingly decorated with colourful flowers and lemon plants. The kitchen is a very special place in the Maison. From the hand–painted Vietri tiles to the home–cooked breakfast, the kitchen area makes guests feel like they are in a home away from home.

With 12 Mediterranean style rooms and windows gazing down onto Marina Grande, guests will truly enjoy “living” the daily life of the antique fisherman’s village. The colours of the rooms are inspired by those of the local fisherman boats, with vibrant turquoises, blues, reds, yellows and whites. The furnishings, paintings and decorations are all pieces of the owners’ collection.
