The contemporary, sophisticated and intimate Mashpi Lodge is located a mere two and a half hours northwest of Ecuador’s capital Quito. The Rainforest Biodiversity Reserve provides the perfect base for adventures in nature amid its 1,200-hectare private reserve, part of the highly-biodiverse Andean rainforest known as the Chocó.
The lodge is designed for guests to explore its green world of tumbling mountains and cascading rivers along trails and in its “canopy gondola” aerial tram. The 22-suite lodge is built with the latest in low-impact techniques and deeply committed to the sustainability of the surrounding forest through various community projects.
