Between the Ugab and Huab rivers in southern Damaraland lies a vast, beautiful and unspoilt wilderness area of unsurpassed desert scenery, unusual geological formations, archaeological sites and a unique variety of desert fauna and flora.
The harshness of the countryside contrasts with the luxurious softness and pure comfort of the camp’s interior. Inside and out blend together as the dining and lounge area open to the outside, capturing the cooling breeze and ensuring that guests are never too far from breathtaking scenery. An enormous flat boulder serves as the camp’s sundowner spot, affording guest’s spectacular views. Guests are housed in luxury tents that have their own en–suite shower, washbasin and toilet. Individual verandas encourage guests to linger while admiring the unspoilt wilderness of the area.
Activities on offer include guided game drives, excursions to the ancient Twyfelfontein rock engravings, the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain as well as guided and unguided nature walks.
