Ol Donyo Wuas, located on 275,000 acres of private wilderness bordering the slopes of the Chyulu National Park in Southern Kenya, away from the heat and malaria, looks toward the mighty Kilimanjaro and over fabulous open savannas. Completely rebuilt in 2008, the lodge boasts 10 cottages with spectacular views over the wildlife plains. Eight cottages feature private swimming pools. All bedrooms have separate en–suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, as well as “under the stars” sleep out rooftop terraces.
An abundance of activities are offered, including day and night game drives, bush walks, learning about anti poaching activities with two resident bloodhounds and visits to remote Masaai villages. Other leisure activities on offer are horseback riding, mountain biking and fly camping in the bush. Guests can also unwind and relax in the cottage and sleep out under the stars on the inviting rooftop terrace with dramatic views.
