Ongava Lodge is situated on a large private game reserve. Despite its impressive size, Ongava Game Reserve only accommodates a limited number of guests in order to ensure an intimate African experience.

There are just 14 sumptuous rock and thatch chalets, each overlooking the tongue twisting Ondundozonandana Range. Impressive views can also be enjoyed from the main lodge where guests will find the lounge, bar and dining area under thatch. For a more memorable dining experience, meals can be eaten under the stars around an open air fire place.

Excellent game viewing possibilities are available from the camp. Ongava Game Reserve residents include zebra, cheetah and both African species of rhino. Once guests have gotten these out the way, it’s only a 15–minute drive to Etosha National Park. Roughly the size of Switzerland, the park is home to a whole of ark of species like lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, elephants and oryx.
