Patagonia Camp is situated on the shore of Lake El Toro and is surrounded by ancient forest and turquoise–coloured rivers. The complex, which has been built on wooden stilts and platforms, accommodates guests in 17 yurts (independent tent domes). Each yurt comes complete with its own private terrace and bathroom and is finely decorated with woven fabrics and locally handcrafted furniture.
Don’t leave without dining in the camp’s ‘Quincho’ where guests can enjoy the famous Patagonian barbeque of slow–roasted Magellanic lamb washed down with a delicious Chilean red wine, while listening to a lecture on Chile and Patagonia.
All told, this is an original and distinctive ‘glamping’ concept where every detail has been carefully thought of to ensure that guests can enjoy the magnificent and wild nature of mythical Patagonia, combining comfort, convenience and the warm hospitality that Chileans are known for.
