In the late 80s, Marchese Ricci and his wife, Princess Eleonora Massimo converted their glorious private residence in the Tuscan countryside into an extraordinary deluxe hotel. Relais La Suvera offers a special cultural experience to its guests, allowing them to sojourn in the midst of furnishings and works of art connected to famous personalities, who in the past were linked to the Ricci family.
The elegant 19 suites and 17 double rooms are housed in the three main buildings, Villa Papale, Scuderie and Fattoria. The original archive of the Ricci family has been inaugurated at the first floor of the Villa Papale, in the rooms hosting the family museum.
The Oliviera Restaurant, in the ancient olive oil mill, offers a traditional and creative a la carte menu. Superb, organically produced wine carrying La Suvera d.o.c is available. The spa includes a gym and a wellness centre, massage and beauty cabins, hydromassage in the pool obtained from the bottom of the medieval well, as well as a splendid and cosy cave which hosts the new Hammam.
