The Bath Priory Hotel, Restaurant and Spa blends into a row of 19th century houses on the west side of the city of Bath in Somerset. Once owned by the Priory of Bath Abbey in 1835, today, fresh flowers, fine paintings, log fires and chandeliers create a warm and welcoming ambience throughout the public rooms.
The four acres of beautiful gardens at The Bath Priory are an integral part of the hotel and its reputation. They are laid out in a typically English country style with a croquet lawn and herbaceous borders stocked with a selection of superb mature specimen shrubs and trees.
Giving particular pleasure to the guests is the Victorian Kitchen Garden, which was developed from the original plot and still supplies the kitchen and Michelin Star award–winning restaurant with most of the seasonal herbs and vegetables. Fine traditional fabrics, antique furniture and objets d’art add refinement to the 22 sumptuous bedrooms at the Bath Priory Hotel, Restaurant and Spa. The restaurant is under the direction of Executive Head Chef Michael Caines MBE who has held two Michelin stars at The Bath Priory's sister property, Gidleigh Park in Devon, for 10 consecutive years.
