The Caves, an exclusive and romantic resort only a few miles away from the bustling Negril strip, is a very private enclave that offers a unique experience. The resort is perched above Negril’s natural volcanic formed caves overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The walls of the cliffs feature a series of grottos with ancient fossilized marine life for guests to explore. Below the caves, the water plunges down to depths of 30 feet and a tropical reef system comes right up to the edge of the caves.
10 handcrafted wood and stone thatch–roofed cottages are interwoven with 2 acres of lush vegetation and sea caves, most with sea views. Hotel facilities include Aveda Spa treatments in an open–air gazebo, snorkelling, a private Jacuzzi which can be booked for 2 with views of the stunning sunsets over the sea, and deep–sea fishing, scuba diving and waterskiing can be arranged nearby.
A Caribbean–World cuisine is served in an open–air gazebo for lunch, on a roof terrace for dinner or in idyllic spots throughout the resort, such as one of two furnished caves.
