Award–winning Chaa Creek has pioneered natural history travel to Belize since 1981 and is Belize’s premier destination for a wide range of Caribbean and Central American adventures.
The 345–acre nature reserve on the Macal River hosts a globally recognized Natural History Centre, Butterfly Farm, miles of trails for walking, birding, mountain biking, horseback riding, a fleet of canoes, an exquisite spa, a conference centre, access to Belize’s richest Maya archaeological sites, national parks and reserves. Some 250 species of birds have been sighted within the reserve.
The Jungle Lodge is comprised of 17 charming thatched cottage rooms and 6 elegant suites nestled along the riverside. Beautifully landscaped tropical gardens create a colourful atmosphere while the luxurious Spa promotes a sense of well being.
