The Xara Palace Hotel is perched on a hilltop in the centre of the silent walled city of Mdina on the Mediterranean island of Malta. Originally built by the Knights of St John in the 17th century as a residence for the noble family Moscati Parisio, today the palace has been transformed into a boutique hotel that masterfully combines its historic legacy with the ultimate in contemporary design and elegance.
