1,500 meters altitude, precious peace, scent of woods and an endless panoramic view of the breathtaking South Tyrolean Mountains.
Star architect Matteo Thun has skilfully integrated the building into the natural setting like a wind fallen tree. The main house with the reception, the restaurant ‘1,500’ and Parlour ‘Ida’, constitutes the upturned root of the tree. The trunk of the tree houses the 41 guest rooms and suites, the piazza, the library as well as the sophisticated spa, which reveals an uninterrupted panoramic view of the impressive mountain scenery and larch woods. Spring water from the Mountain S. Vigilio and high–class alpine and far eastern treatments provide inner balance. The hotel is accessible by cable car only.
The vigilius’ interior is defined through clean lines and clear forms. Natural materials, pleasant colours and soft textiles create an unmistakable atmosphere of cosiness and well–being.
Dress codes and dandy five–star service are replaced by unceremonious luxury and an ‘at home feeling’.
