Le Prince Maurice enjoys an idyllic location in a secluded and sheltered spot on the splendid east coast of Mauritius. Named after Prince Maurice of Nassau, a pioneer of the island ancient spice trade, the hotel nestles on a lagoon–lapped beach, screened by lush tropical vegetation and blends naturally with the beauty and simplicity of the environment.

Elegant and natural building materials such as marble, wood and stone as well as an architecture allowing nature, water, space and light to create an atmosphere of comfort. an all–suite hotel, some of the 89 colonial–style suites are built on stilts over a natural fish reserve, while the large senior suites face the sea and have private plunge pools and sunken Jacuzzis in the gardens.

The hotel features 4 sheltered coral sand beaches, a Guerlain Spa, a kid’s club, a fitness centre, water sports, as well as a unique floating restaurant, Le Barachois and for golfers, two 18–holes championship golf courses of international standard.
