Rovos Rail, with its private station at Capital Park in Pretoria, provides unique train safaris through some of the most spectacular scenery in Africa, with the glamour and excitement of the golden age of rail and air travel

The beautifully restored trains, consisting of four royal suites and thirty two deluxe suites, house a maximum of 72 passengers, offer accommodation of the highest standard, combining the opulence of pre–war travel with subtle modern innovations.

With fine wood paneling, Edwardian period features as well as subtle modern convenience and comfort, the air–conditioned suites carry two people offering the option of twin or double beds. The Royal Suites have their own private lounge area and feature a full en–suite bathroom with shower and Victorian bath. The Deluxe Suites have a lounge area and private bath with shower.

The use of traditional furnishings and period décor ensures an atmosphere of elegance and grandeur in the dining, lounge and observation cars.
