Rambling across a lush, 110–acre peninsula which had once been a pineapple plantation, guests are accommodated in either the 36–room Pineapple House Hotel, or in one of the 27 individually–owned villas with 74 suites that dot the hillside. The two–storied hotel overlooks the Caribbean and the seaside freshwater pool. Private villas, surrounded by gardens, contain two, three, or four suites, each with its own veranda and living area. Most have spectacular views and swimming pools.

Water sports include snorkelling, scuba diving, waterskiing, sunfish sailing, and windsurfing. In addition, deep–sea fishing and yacht charters may be arranged and there are many activities such as tours of the Jamaican Great Houses and Mountain Valley Rafting. Round Hill has five all–weather tennis courts, jogging and walking path. Also featured is the full service Spa at Round Hill, a celebrated 19th century plantation on 10–acres of waterfront property next door to Round Hill Resort. Golf can be arranged at a championship course a few minutes away.
