Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor was first established in 1932 and provided accommodation for the wave of travellers for whom the Angkor Temples were an obligatory stopover. Reopened in 1997 after a restoration and refurbishment programme by Raffles International, the hotel resumes its position as the premier resort hotel in Cambodia.

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor offers superior international standards of accommodation, services and facilities in a relaxed atmosphere with Cambodian hospitality and Angkorian overtones. It is located on the edge of the town of Siem Reap on a 60,000 square metre site only eight kilometres away from the gateway of the famous Angkor temples.

The hotel has 131 rooms and suites, each tastefully appointed with art deco country style furnishings and Cambodian objet d’art, reflecting the period architectural theme. The Main Building, carefully restored and refurbished to original architectural style, is complemented by new wings of the same architectural inspiration.

The restaurant Le Grand, the fine dining restaurant of Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor, offers traditional Khmer cuisine, complemented by the more casual Café d’Angkor, The Conservatory, Travellers Bar and Celebrity Bar. Or simply descend down the art deco marble staircase to the famous Elephant Bar with its charming and unusual elephant motifs, the perfect place to relax and unwind.
