An exclusive oasis styled after a traditional Bedouin encampment, the Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa introduces its guests to all the customs, wildlife and dramatic beauty of the Arabian desert.

The new Jamilah Spa overlooks the resort’s oasis–style pool, with views across sweeping dunes, providing a natural, tranquil backdrop to the Spa’s impressive array of relaxation and beauty therapies using the exclusively produced Al Maha ‘Timeless’ products. Camel–trekking, horse–riding, guided nature walks and four–wheel drive safaris all bring the surrounding 3,500 acres of desert plains up close and personal. Oryx, gazelle and fox are just a sample of the wildlife that can be spotted, whilst falconry exhibitions display a traditional art long forgotten elsewhere.

Guests are accommodated in an intimate collection of 40 luxurious Bedouin Suites, each one a combination of tented ceilings, Arabian antiques, hedonistic bathrooms and individual temperature controlled pools. The wrap–around verandas are ideal for enjoying the Arabian or Mediterranean cuisine.
