Blanket Bay is a luxury resort situated just outside of Glenorchy, a small town at the northern head of Lake Wakatipu, on New Zealand’s South Island. It has been carefully built to place the finest, most up–to–date microcosm of civilisation into the grandeur of its Alpine surroundings.

The resort consists of the main lodge and two separate chalets each offering two suites. All rooms in The Lodge are lakeside and superbly appointed with their own balcony or terrace. The suites are spacious and filled with sumptuous furnishings and elegant rugs.

Recreational activities such as ‘A la Carte Heliskiing’, hot air ballooning or mountain biking, provide guests with an opportunity to thoroughly enjoy the spectacular Southern Alps. Those preferring to be pampered can indulge in a Spa treatment or a relaxing swim in the outdoor pool whilst enjoying wonderful views of the lake and Humboldt Mountain Range.

Dining arrangment is left to your choice, with both The Main Dining Room and the intimate Wine Cave offering Pacific Rim cuisine.
