Wharekauhau Lodge sits amid a 5000–acre working sheep and cattle station overlooking the magnificent Palliser Bay. Modelled on an Edwardian country mansion, the lodge provides accommodation in 12 luxury cottages and two three–bedroom houses, all situated to take full advantage of the wonderful views. All secluded cottages offer private verandas, open fires, four poster beds and bathrooms with double baths. The two three–bedroom houses are situated away from the main lodge area and offer the ultimate in privacy and luxury.

With private native forests, spectacular beaches, rivers, lakes and wetlands, Wharekauhau is a haven from the outside world.
