Las Hayas Resort Hotel is located within a natural forest of beech (hayas) trees, at the foot of the spectacular Glacier Martial, amidst the awesome landscape of the Tierra del Fuego province. Just 2.5 kilometres from Ushuia, the southernmost–city in the world, the hotel covers more than 10,000 square metres of natural paradise and is alpine in external appearance with steep sloping roofs and whitewashed walls.

The lovely hotel comprises 93 individually designed rooms reflecting an atmosphere of elegance and luxury through immaculate wooden furnishings and inspiring attention to detail. Guests are enticed to the windows by views over the snowcapped glacier, the Bay of Ushuaia and the deep blue southern sea.

Dining facilities include the excellent Le Martial gourmet restaurant serving seafood and international cuisine with an Argentine twist. The Drake Lounge boasts spectacular views over the Bay of Ushuaia and serves lighter meals whilst the Bar Inglés with its intimate atmosphere forms a perfect place to unwind.

Beyond the hotel and accessible through a glass walkway, lies the hotel’s health club featuring an indoor swimming pool, two saunas, a Jacuzzi, a steam bath, a Scottish shower, a squash court and a well–equipped gymnasium. There is also a 9–hole golf course located a short walk from the hotel in a spectacular setting among the mountains and with an icy glacial river running through it.
