Muktuk specialises in small group adventures for both novice and experienced dog-sled drivers. From day trips, to races while also offering a “Northern Lights Viewing” where guests will be able to enjoy the breathtaking Aurora Borealis displays.
Owned and operated by Frank Turner and Anne Tayler, Muktuk Kennels is located on the Takhini River, close to the "old Dawson Trail", the Takhini Hotsprings and the Yukon Quest Trail. The Muktuk Adventures’ ranch is surrounded by panoramic views of the mountains in the Ibex Valley, the Laberge Hills and Haeckel Hill. Nestled into an ox-bow on the river, the 100-acre ranch is bordered on three sides by the river.
