The Marina Svetaeva is a strong, stable and ice-capable vessel with an experienced team of lecturers and adventure concierges onboard who have the local knowledge to take travellers ashore to the prime expedition sites.
With activities such as camping and kayaking, as well as a good hiking programmes, passengers will see as much as possible of Antarctica and with a masseuse onboard offering a hot stone massage at the end of the day all muscle aches are soon forgotten.
The ship is cosy and comfortable, but most of your time will be spent exploring or on deck watching wildlife. One Ocean Expeditions strives to provide the most sumptuous quality cuisine. The 302 foot M/V Marina Svetaeva built in Poland in 1989, is designed specifically for polar exploration and has recently been completely refurbished. The cosy cabins are spread out over three decks: from triple cabins with shared facilities, to suites with private facilities and a separate sitting room.
