Fractional Ownership

The term fractional ownership is on everyone’s lips nowadays as it offers many advantages for those who want to enjoy the benefits of owning, but do not want to face the burdens that go together with direct ownership.

The introduction of fractional ownership programmes has also created a serious shift in the market as it has seriously lowered the bar of ownership of products that were formerly only available to the happy few. Indeed, there’s a world of difference between paying €45 million for a product and being able to split this hefty price tag among several ‘fraction owners’, all whilst being able to use the product whenever one wants and not having to care about maintenance, insurance or staffing issues.

Fractional ownership originated in the real estate industry, but it is now not longer applied to bricks and mortar only. Manufacturers and specialist companies now offer attractive fractional ownership programmes for yachts, helicopters, aircraft, exotic cars and more.
