Ishq Luxury Villas is a collection of two exclusive homes owned by the family of Hanif Yusoof, and located in Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital and Talpe, in Galle. Each villa offers every conceivable luxury – swimming pools, private chefs, a team of butlers – yet also offer a genuine taste of what it feels like to be a cherished personal guest of the Yusoof family. No expense was spared in the creation of these exceptional homes.
The name Ishq is derived from the Arabic word for love. The owners’ passion for high end, personalised hospitality, food, art and design is evident throughout these unique holiday homes. A stay at an Ishq home evokes stories and memories, inspires and indulges, and bathes guests in the warmth of a family home.
Ishq Colombo
Designed by Channa Daswatta, a protégé of the late architect Geoffrey Bawa, this exquisite four-suite villa sleeps up to ten and is a sanctuary of intrepid style, indulgence, and contemporary sophistication. The villa provides a tranquil and very exclusive base for experiencing Colombo’s attractions, spas, contemporary art galleries, varied dining scene and independent boutiques.
Ishq Talpe
Ishq Talpe was conceived by renowned Australian architect Bruce Fell-Smith in the 1990s before undergoing an extensive renovation and upgrade under the guidance of award-winning architect Philip Weeraratne. Today this private five-suite luxury villa in Galle that sleeps up to 14 guests is a vision of contemporary design, tropical simplicity and oceanic hues.
