La Monastica Resort & Spa was once the Monastery of Santa Scolastica, brought back to life in
2024 after a meticulous restoration and transformed into a hotel where elegance, heritage, and

Alongside the spa, located in one of the oldest parts of the monastery, the resort features the Paradiso dell’Anima, an evocative wellness path connecting the base of a medieval tower to a 17th-century cistern, offering a deeply immersive experience of quiet and relaxation. For those wishing to step away from daily stress, there is also a large terraced garden set across nine levels, with two pools featuring micronized water.
Within the hotel, Ristorante Devoti celebrates Tuscan cuisine through seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, including fruit and vegetables grown in the resort’s own sustainably cultivated garden just a short distance away.
