Le Royal Monceau

This exclusive Parisian hotel Le Royal Monceau is pure art

After a radical makeover by renowned designer Philippe Starck, Le Royal Monceau, Raffles Paris has been reborn as the hippest of urban hotels. Here, art reigns supreme: it adorns the walls of the private gallery, it’s the focus of many a title in the Art Bookstore and is top of the agenda on tours arranged by the art concierge. Located off the Champs-Elysees in Paris’ 8th arrondissement, the rooms and suites exude contemporary elegance, with rich fabrics, warm colours, sculptural armchairs and, somewhat whimsically, acoustic guitars to strum.

Dining is also elevated to an art form: choose between Michelin-starred Italian cuisine at Il Carpaccio or world-class Japanese-Peruvian at Chef Nobu’s first restaurant in France. Breakfasts are no less extravagant thanks to the decadent baked treats by Pierre Hermé, the Picasso of pastry.

A 99-seat movie theatre, the longest hotel pool in Paris and a gleaming all-white 1,500 square metre Spa My Blend by Clarins, complete this ultra-stylish retreat.
