Mahali Mzuri

Mahali Mzuri is Sir Richard Branson’s luxury safari camp in Kenya

Meaning ‘beautiful place’ in Swahili, Mahali Mzuri is Sir Richard Branson’s luxury safari camp in Kenya. It is located in the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy in the wider Maasai Mara ecosystem and is perfectly placed to enjoy the abundant year-round wildlife including the annual Great Migration.

Mahali Mzuri features 12 unique tented suites sleeping a maximum of 24 guests at any time. The tents are perched on a ridge looking over the valley, providing the perfect window onto some of the world’s more spectacular scenery. Each of the 12 luxurious tents are designed to be your home away from home throughout your stay, with an en-suite bathroom, inviting private deck and views you won’t want to miss.

There are six tents on either side of the Main Tent, each accessible by a shared walkway. Ten of the 12 tents are designed to sleep two guests, with the remaining two configured so that the sitting area is enclosed with fold-out sofa beds accommodating up to two additional children, perfect for a family of four.

Besides the twice-daily game drives, guests can also enjoy the 12-metre infinity pool, bar and lounge, spa treatments and special community tours to meet members of the Maasai tribes. Rates include all food, drinks (including alcoholic beverages), transfers from the Olare Orok airstrip as well as game drives in the private reserve.
