The widespread Borgo with private beach is located in a residential area of Praialonga, close to the Park of the Marine Reserve of the Municipality of Isola Capo Rizzuto. Surrounded by greenery, the houses are low and tuff, boasting sloping roofs with red handmade tiles and wood. The Borgo offers complimentary access to its private beach with one umbrella and two cosy sunbeds, as well as a swimming pool with Jacuzzi.
Praia Art Resort stands for authenticity and sustainability. The rooms and the other areas of the Borgo were created by local artisans through the use of raw materials such as wood, rock, clay and iron. The rooms feature a patio or terrace, and some of them offer wonderful sea views. In the morning, breakfast is served with excellent local products from dairy and sheep farming: not only pastries, but eggs and vegetables, fruits and cheeses, handmade jams and ancient flour breads.
The gastronomic offer of the Borgo includes a bar for aperitifs and two restaurants, the Osteria del Mare and the Pietramare Natural Food, awarded one Michelin Star, also open to the public that propose recipes that tell the biodiversity of Calabria, serving fresh fish, meat, wild herbs, and vegetables from the organic garden. The Praia Art offers massages and wellness treatments, as well as unique experiences, including cooking classes, guided tours and boat tours.
