Secret Atlas - The home of Expedition Micro Cruises

Creators of Expedition Micro Cruises: Connect with yourself, nature, and each other—it’s all about the journey.

Secret Atlas transforms how you travel—founded and led by explorers for explorers united by a passion inspired by stories of bygone eras on a mission to rekindle the long-gone spirit of exploration.

Harnessing the power of the wilderness, these Expedition Micro Cruises offer small-scale voyages focusing on exploration, discovery and an immersive experience to some of the most remote Polar destinations in the world, including Svalbard, Greenland, South Georgia and Antarctica.

Secret Atlas offers a range of services, specialising in tailor-made private expeditions, photography workshops led by the world’s most renowned photography guides and Expedition Micro Cruises designed for friends, families and solo adventurers alike.

The fleet of ice-strengthened expedition ships are meticulously crafted for true explorers, seamlessly blending nimbleness with comfort to access locations beyond the reach of conventional vessels. Onboard, a sense of camaraderie flourishes among guests and crew, cultivating an atmosphere of genuine connection. With an open bridge policy, everyone is encouraged to become an integral part of the journey, deepening their understanding of the Polar regions.

Secret Atlas distinguishes itself from conventional cruises through the guidance of a team with firsthand experience and a profound respect for the places they explore. Grounded in a commitment to responsible travel, Secret Atlas expeditions are designed and led by individuals who have lived and breathed the Polar regions, ensuring that each journey leaves a positive impact on both travelers and the environment.

Its latest vessel, Aureum, is set to become its new Explorer Yacht, sailing to Antarctica from October 2027. She will host just 36 guests, making her the first vessel to bring the brand's signature Expedition Micro Cruise model - small-scale, high-access, low-impact - to Antarctica. It is a genuinely different category to conventional expedition cruising, and one that will surely appeal to clients looking for real exclusivity.
