The Lumiares is the brand's love letter to Portugal. A celebration of everything which makes Lisbon unique. From a former XVIII century palace to a stylish, characterful space in the heart of the Bairro Alto area, this hotel is an homage to Lisbon’s golden light and bohemian charm. A unique and indigenous experience for all who visit.
The design is inspired by the light and patterns of the stunning Bairro Alto area. They wanted to capture the personality of Lisbon, so they collaborated with local Portuguese businesses and artists at every opportunity. From the sculptural brass chandelier above the Grand Staircase, to the bespoke collection of original artworks. Every element has been thoughtfully sourced and crafted. Stylishly laidback, authentically Lisbon.
The apartment-style rooms are designed to feel like homes, with stylish living spaces and private kitchens in the heart of the city. Meanwhile, up top there's the Lumi Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious contemporary menu from Chef Joao Silva with spectacular views overlooking Lisbon’s skyline and the Tagus River. Located on the 5th floor, they offer high quality, locally sourced, seasonal food and cocktails – with a focus upon fresh authentic ingredients.
