Tutka Bay sits in a private cove within a rugged ancient glacial fjord

Tutka Bay Lodge is a luxury adventure lodge located on the Kachemak Bay of Alaska. Nestled at the head of the rugged nine-mile fjord, Tutka Bay features a secluded and authentic Alaska feel. About 25 minutes by boat from the town of Homer, the lodge sits on eleven acres surrounded by tide pools, natural estuaries, and thirty acres of old-growth Sitka spruce forest, which provides a unique trail system right from the large oceanside deck. The property has a distinctly Alaska maritime feel with its own quiet cove offering a serene space to observe resident marine life and soak in fresh ocean air.

The family-owned and operated lodge offers a remote, genuine, and transformative stay within Alaska’s coastal wilderness by pairing their regional expertise with guests’ biggest objectives. Launch from the deck for adventures within the bay and neighboring communities by kayak, boat, or seaplane, or simply enjoy the views of Broken Knife peak and Grace Ridge, a perfect junction of mountain and sea.

Tutka Bay Lodge is comprised of a main lodge, six private guest cabins, a massive viewing deck, cooking school, boathouse, sauna, and hot tub, all interconnected by a beautiful boardwalk. Each guest cabin is adorned with ocean treasures, a large living room, bedroom, private bathroom, and boasts views of our coastal panorama.
Out-of-camp opportunities include deep-sea fishing for salmon and halibut as well as wildlife cruises and brown bear viewing flights. Enjoy the use of all activity gear, yoga/stretch classes, massage therapy, as well as afternoon wine tastings and cooking classes.
